Henninger, Eileen  (25 AUG 1939- 02 APR 1956)

Eileen Gladys Henninger, 16, youngest daughter of Oswald and Lottie (Smith) Henninger passed away at the Wisconsin General Hospital Madison, at 8:15, Monday morning. The funeral will be held this Thursday at the Loytal Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Rev. J. R. Putt has charge of the services.

The body was to be in state at the Myre Funeral Home until the time of services Thursday.

Eileen was born August 25, 1939 at Granton where she lived until the family moved to Lublin where she started school. They moved back to Granton and five years ago came to Loyal where she continued her schooling being a junior at Loyal High School until forced to quit in January because of illness. She entered St. Joseph’s Hospital 4 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago was taken to Madison where she passed away. The cause of death being a rheumatic heart.

She is survived by her parents, six brothers, Harlow of Sheboygan, Oliver of Roosevelt, Arizona, Arleigh of Hayward, California, Harold of Mikwaukee, Glenn and Kenneth at home, five sisters, Mrs. Philip (Lillian) Weller of Milwaukee, Mrs. Harold (Nita) Henninger of Oakes, North Dakota, Mrs. Harlan (Carol) Hughes of Pasedina, California, Marion and Luella at home. One brother, Leslie preceded her in death. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Fannie Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.

Rev. & Mrs. J. R. Putt will sing "Beyond the Sunset" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."

The pallbearers will be Jack DuBrava, Herbert Langfeldt, Kenneth Hansen, John Hills, Duane Boeck and Robert Dusso.
