Kelsey, Meredyth G. (17 JUN 1921 - 10 MAY 2011)


ABBOTSFORD -- Meredyth G. Kelsey, 89, of Abbotsford, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.


Funeral services for Meredyth will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Burial will be in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.


Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday at the funeral home, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.


Meredyth was born June 17, 1921, to Edward and Gladys (Henry) Mykleby in Eagle River. She taught home economics at Abbotsford High School from 1943 to 1951. After that, she sub taught to spend more time at home with her children. She was married to Jack Junior Kelsey on Aug. 17, 1946, at the First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford.


She is lovingly survived by her children: Sharon Westphal of Eau Claire, Terry (Barbara) Kelsey of Cartersville, Ga., Nanette Kelsey of Madison, George (Rosemary) Kelsey of Owen, Suzanne Kelsey of Beaver Dam; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Mary Jane) Mykleby of Weston; sisters, Mildred (James) Wadinski of Wausau and Phyllis Mykelby of Burgaw, N.C.


Meredyth was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 1992.
