Koenig, Jay Allen (21 JAN 1957 - 9 MAY 2011)

SPENCER -- Jay Allen Koenig, 54, of the town of Spencer, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Spencer. Private committal services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home in Spencer.

Jay was born Jan. 21, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa, son of Melvin and Eve (Parmelee) Koenig. He married the former Linette Dupuis on May 19, 1979, in Mosinee. They later divorced. Jay worked at various jobs in the Marshfield area including the Donnelley Corp., All Car Automotive, Modern Woodmen Insurance Agency and Figi's Data Center.

Survivors include his three children, Jennifer (Jon) Luepke of Spencer, Benjamin (Tamami Seki) Koenig of Japan and Steven (Michelle Johnson) of Spencer; three grandchildren; and one brother, Mark Koenig of Rockford, Ill.
