Schlinsog, Natalia M. "Dolly" (12 JUL 1910 - 8 MAY 2011)


Natalia "Dolly" M. Schlinsog, 100, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Wells Nature View in Marshfield.


Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Visitation will held from 11 a.m. until service time at the church Friday. The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield is assisting the family with arrangements.


Natalia was born July 12, 1910, in Granton, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Reichert) Gerber. She attended school in Granton. Natalia was united in marriage Aug. 28, 1936, to Wilbur Schlinsog at the American Lutheran Parsonage.


Dolly enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. Her true passion was to comfort people with her food.


She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Marlene (David) Richter of Fridley, Minn.; two grandchildren, Bradley (Leslie) Richter of Fridley, Minn., and Scott (Darcy) Richter of Des Moines, Iowa; as well as great-grandchildren, Bryce, Linley, Kendra, Keslie and Zackary. She will truly be missed.


Besides her parents, Fred and Bertha; and husband, Wilbur; Dolly was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
