Blazer, Bernard #2 (11 OCT 1895 - 17 FEB 1960)
Stricken with hemorrhagic pneumonia, Bernard Blazer, 64, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away Wednesday, the 17th of February, 1960 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. He had been ill for several weeks prior to his death and had previously been hospitalized.
Services were held at two o’clock Saturday afternoon from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home with the Rev. James Stone of the Alliance Church in charge of the service. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were H.A. Stuve, Roy Anderson, Don Rinehart, James Larson, Arlie Thompson and David McVey.
Bernard Blazer was born Oct. 11, 1895 in Richland Co., Wis., and had been a resident of this community for more than 45 years. ON the 7th of November, 1926, he was united in marriage to Mary Miller in a ceremony performed at Withee.
His passing is mourned by his wife, a son Richard, Owen; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ardyce) Bussard, Camden, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Levi (Elizabeth) Dickinson, Withee; and a brother, Hoard, of Owen.
