PEARLIE LOWE passed to the land of eternal light about 10 o'clock on Tuesday evening, the 25th inst., after a long and painful illness.  He was a sprightly active boy, between five and six years of age, and notwithstanding the assurance that he has passed through the gates of pearl, where sickness, sorrow and pain can never enter, yet there will be a vacant chair, and a void in the home circle around which memory will cling until those who loved him most and best shall join him "over there."  This is the second time within a month that the grim messenger has entered the household, and the bereaved family have the heart felt sympathy of the entire community.  Funeral at the house this afternoon, at half past two o'clock.

*"Perlie" was the son of John W. and Martha A. Lowe.  His 12 yr. old sister, Gertrude, died the previous week.
