Spencer Advance, Spencer, Wisconsin (3 Feb. 1881 - 14 Jul 1881), Elias W. Stevens, publisher; Elbert E. Stevens, Local Editor.
A WISKEY ROW took place at Unity last Saturday, which came near proving fatal to one man. As we learned from incidentally bearing a conversation by an eye witness of the affair, it seems that some difficulty arose between Geo. Williams and a German whose name the narrator did not learn, when the two passed outside of the saloon, and the German stabbed Williams in several places, cutting his arm very seriously. The stabist was arrested, but at this writing (Monday) we have no further particulars.
