At 9:30 this morning final rites were conducted from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, for Fred Andrew Koplitz. The deceased was born March 19, 1876 at Black Wolf, Wis., and was 84 years, 2 months and 1 day of age at the time of his death. He passed away at his home May 30th, 1960 after a long illness, with death being attributed to complications of old age.

On Arpil 18, 1912, he was united in wedlock to the former Anna Tautges at Aniwa, Wis. That same year they came to Clark County, settling on a tract of land west of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), which they diligently worked at and cleared into a farm where they resided until his retirement a year ago last February.
