Mrs. Tyler died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. (Amanda) Richardson, after an illness lasting one week. Bronchial pneumonia was the immediate cause of her death but her health had been failing during the past year and when this disease attacked her she had not strength enough to cast it off.
"Grandma" Tyler was eighty-seven years old in June and for many years had lived with her daughter. She led a devoted Christian life and passed scores of warm friends who will miss her as well as her immediate family.
She is survived by two children, Amanda Richardson of Spencer and Amos Tyler of Bayfield. and a step son, Damon Tyler, of Salem South Dakota. Her son arrived Sunday noon in response to telegram but too late to see his mother alive.
Funeral services were held at the house Monday afternoon, Rev. Christiansen officiating and the body was taken to Kilbourn Tuesday and laid beside that of her husband. Beautiful floral offerings were contributed by the W. C. T. U. and the Epworth League. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of their many friends.
