Englebretson, Ronald #4 (1941 - 17 JUL 1960)

 

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, July 20, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at Greenwood for Ronald Englebretson who was drowned while swimming with several companions in Chapman Lake at Chapman park in Stanley.  Chester Christensen, supply pastor, officiated at the services and burial was made in Greenwood Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Dennis Lulloff, Gerald Lindgren, Marvin Raatz, Elroy Churkey, Marlin Laabs and Gerald Lenz.

 

Charles Ivey accompanied Mrs. Richard Thompson and Mrs. Leslie Johnson at the organ when theyr sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "The Light of Home."

 

Out of town persons attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sonentag and daughter, Sandra, Osage, Iowa; Mrs. Virgil Woodworth, Black River Falls; Mrs. Harold Barnette, Norwalk, Calif; Mrs. Ione Martin and daughter, Merrillan; Mr. and Mrs. Emery Stark and daughter Vera, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Anderson, Willard; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stafford, Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stafford and Mrs. Lyle Hardrath, Unity; Mrs. Lawrence Tessmer, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hendrickson, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Lenz, Colby; Emil Englebretson, San Leandro, Calif. and a number of relatives and friends from Loyal, Owen and Greenwood.
