Nissula, Henry Jr. #2 (17 JUL 1913 - 31 AUG 1960)
Services were conducted from Bethany Lutheran Church for Henry Richard Nissula with Rev. Karl Wilkman officiating, Friday, Sept. 2. Military rites were conducted at graveside for the World War II veteran who passed away Aug. 31, 1960, at the Veterans Hospital at Tomah, where he succumbed to disabilities inflicted while serving with the U.S. Army in World War II.
Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery with Neil Kytola, Martin Harycki, Clifford Hakola, E. Pertunen, H. Pertunen and Arthur Laine serving as pallbearers. Carrying the floral offerings were Mesdames E. Buss, L. Kyle and F. Karye.
Henry Richard Nissula was born July 17, 1913 at Winton, Minn., being 47 years of age at the time of his death. He was unmarried, and after his schooling was engaged in farming with his parents until he entered the Army during World War II. Following his discharge he returned home and again pursued the vocation of farming until his health forced him to give it up and he was admitted to the hospital, where he has been a patient for several years.
His passing is mourned by his father, John Nissula, Owen; two sisters, Mrs. George Wnukowski, rural Greenwood, Mrs. Milton Seaman, Also of rural Greenwood, and a brother, John Nissula Jr., also at Greenwood.
