SPENCER, WISCONSIN LOCAL NEWS
Mr. C. K. Richardson died at his home in this village last Friday
at the age of 69 years and 9 months. The funeral was held at the
Baptist church, of which he was a member, Sunday afternoon. He was
a veteran of the civil war, being a member of Co. E, 12th Wis.
Vols. He served about a year and was discharged on account of
sickness from which he has suffered ever since. He leaves a wife
and two children, one son, Victor, of Loyal, and one daughter,
Verna, who is at home, to mourn his death, besides a large circle
of friends and acquaintances.
Ferdinand Schwantes and Miss Martha Melenthen [Mellenthin] were
married at the Lutheran church north of this village (Spencer) on
Thursday, November 14th.
W. G. Hinman, wife and daughters of Marshfield, attended the
funeral of Mr. Richardson last Sunday.
A. E. Tyler of Chetek attended the funeral of his brother-in-law,
C. K. Richardson, last Sunday.
J. L. Hintington, of Delton, cousin of Mr. Richardson, came up to
attend the funeral

with her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Morrison
