Mrs. E. (Emogene) C. Tyler died at the home of her daughter Mrs. A.
M. T. (Amanda May Tyler) Richardson Sunday of bronchia pneumonia
after an illness of less than a week. Mrs. Tyler was born June 18,
1820 which made her more that 87 years old at the time of her
death. Her husband died many years ago when they lived at Big
Springs, Wis., since which time she has lived with her son A. E.
Tyler now of Bayfield and her daughter Mrs. Richardson. She has
gradually failed in health the past year but few knew she was
seriously ill until they heard of her death. Funeral services were
held at the house Monday afternoon by Rev. Christensen and the body
accompanied by her son A. E. Tyler was taken Tuesday morning to Big
Springs to be interred by the side of her husband.
