SPENCER, WISCONSIN CLIPS
FOR SALE.--Any one wishing to purchase a nice lot of hotel
furniture, are requested to call on Mrs. Pool of the Pioneer House,
Spence, as she wishes to sell on account of failing health.
Mrs. Pool, of the Pioneer House, Spencer wishes to inform the
public that Patsy Bresnanhan, now clerk of the Rivers' House,
Marshfield, has been collecting money under false pretences, since
leaving her service. Anyone indebted to Mrs. Pool are requestd to
pay all money to her order, or to her clerk, Mr. Raymond.
NOTICE TO BE READ--I see by the last issue of the Spencer Tribune
that Mrs. Mary Pool of that place, seems to be laboring under the
insane delusion that I am acting as clerk of the Pioneer House. I
thik the people are well aware that I am not running for a lunatic
asylum or a pest house. There is a "thing" up there that does that
kind of business. There is no use in calling names, but if anyone
should be curious enough to hunt him up, they will find him at the
depot or the cow barn. P. J. Bresnahan
