DIED
McRAITH--In the city of Stevens Point, Feb. 5th, 1881. Mrs. Lizzie McRaith died of heart disease in the 29th year of her age.
Mrs. McRaith was the daughter of Daniel Hubbard of the firm of Hubbard & Pool, in this village (Spencer, Wis.) and a niece of Mrs. H. Pool. She was born in Orono, Penobscot Co., Maine. She leaves a husband and one child with other relatives to mourn her early decease. Her health has been poor for some years, but her symptoms were not considered dangerous until the news of the death of a near friend gave her a severe shock, after which she rapidly declined until she passed away.
Up 'mid the blood washed throng,
Where angel songs are ringing,
Let us leave her there, our sister,
Home is our souls her words bringing.
"Life is too short for strife,
Would I could say to all living,
Think not so much of this world,
Oh, be more tender, forgiving."
So as we hope for God's peace.
Now, and when death's side is swelling.
Let Charity is every heart
Have as abiding dwelling. Mrs. Tasker.
