Mrs. C.F. Buchholz is an eczema sufferer, the trouble having afflicted her hand the past few weeks.

Mrs. Thos. O’Leary left Sunday for Milwaukee to spend a few weeks with her daughter and family.

Numbered among the new flue victims are Mrs. Ida Zerbel and her mother; Billie Lee Miller, who is keeping house on the farm alone since the family went to Villa Park, has been laid up the past week with the epidemic; John Cole is again on the job after a bronchial attack; George Zimmerman received three fracture ribs in a fall last of the week and J.N. Cooper is helping with the work;  Michael O’Leary has just recovered from an attack of tonsillitis, and Wilson O’Leary has about recovered from a foot injury received when a gasoline engine he was repairing tipped over onto the foot.

Chairman Max Schenk and Assessor Will Aebersold were at the county seat Wednesday and have become enrolled as WPA workers.  Their party in the project is to help get a lot of papers, now lost, such as land contracts, administrator’s deed, satisfaction of mortgages, etc. on record.  The county has a large WPS project on to clarify the tax records, and when the system is established each town, village or city clerk will receive a tax roll with the descriptions mechanically recorded.  The new system will no doubt catch defects in legal papers at their inception and avoid a lot of difficulties in the future.  But right now an urge is made to all who are holding unrecorded papers to put them on record at once.
