CLAFAS CROTTEAU, brother-in-law of T. P. Shattuck, was taken with a chill a week ago Last Monday which terminated in typhoid pneumonia from the effects of which he died the following Saturday.  Deceased was between 18-19 years of age.  His relatives at Rudolph, near Grand Rapids, were notified and came to this place for the purpose of removing the body to his former home.  They left here on the afternoon train, on their return. Last Monday.
