Mrs. D.O Fowler and daughter are expected here from Minneapolis this weekend. They will go to Ripon from here after Miss Winifred, who is attending Ripon College.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Vandeberg and family of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lawrence of Neillsville, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. H.I. Davis.
Mr. and Mrs. John Pofahl of Pleasant Prairie, called at the Geo. Squires home Monday forenoon, on their way to visit their son’s family at Aberdeen, S.D.
Harry Fristad and family were down from the farm north of Fairchild Monday for a short visit.
Wm. Crume and wife, Viroqua, and Mrs. Rhoda Phillips, who is spending a few weeks with them, spent Monday here. They had been at Lindsey visiting relatives.
H.I. Davis, who is operating the Stanley Garage, moved his family here from Neillsville last week. They are occupying the W.M. Rosolack house.
H.H. Nibbe is appointed weed commissioner for the town of Mentor by the Town Board.
Alvas Repplinger was home from West Allis for the Memorial weekend holiday.
