Last week the Alma Center new in the Banner-Journal contained a fine write up of the wedding of Glenn Holman, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.P. Holman of the town of Cleveland (Jackson Co.) and Miss ruth Courtier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Courtier of Evansville. The wedding was celebrated July 5th, 1941, at the home of the bride’s parents, in the presence of twenty-five relatives and friends.
The groom is well known in this village (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.), having attended our high school, graduated with the class of 1932. He attended and graduated from the eau Claire School of Beauty Culture, and after which he established a beauty parlor in Alma Center. His bride is a graduate of Evansville High School and Whitewater State Teachers College, and has been employed as teacher in the Alma Center schools. Mr. and Mrs. Holman will reside in apartments over the parlors in Alma Center.
