A.E. Krueger and Ira Sherwin drove to Eau Claire Monday afternoon.
Mahlon Lund was confined to his home over the weekend with a flue attack. A number of cases of the illness have appeared and several have been under the doctor’s care.
Mrs. Robert Finnegan and three children, the youngest a babe of five weeks, arrived last Thursday from San Lorado, Calif., to remain for a while with the children’s grandmother, Mrs. Arnold Matti. Mrs. Finnegan’s home has always been in California, and she is expecting to enjoy the deep snows of a Wisconsin winter.
An item that was omitted last issue was the visit of Hallan Russell, who is in the army in a camp in Nevada, to his mother, Mrs. S.R. Newton, and family. He had a ten day furlough and hitch-hiked home in a day and a half time.
