Escher, Minnie (11 OCT 1941)
In a quiet home wedding at 4 o’clock last Saturday afternoon, the Rev. Harrold M. Burt, pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, read the ceremony which united in holy wedlock Mr. Edwin E. Dickie of Fairchild, and Mrs. Minnie Escher of this village (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.). The vows were taken at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Eva Baumgartner, which has been also the bride’s home for the past several years.
Mr. and Mrs. Archie Fradenburg were the couple’s only attendants. The bride wore a brown street length dress with white accessories and wore a corsage of roses and carnations. A wedding supper was served in Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Dickie will make their home in Fairchild, where he is employed as an electrician for the railroad company.
