Zank, Walter (? - 9 May 2011) With Flag
Walter Zank, 103, a lifetime resident of the Fairchild-Neillsville area, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, at Neillsville Care and Rehab.
He is survived by three sons, Bob of Amery, Don of Bloomer and Wayne of Holcombe; one daughter, Barb Shaw of Neillsville; one sister, Leona; and two brothers, Frank of Neillsville and Louis of Wisconsin.
He was predeceased by his wife, Freida (Gerhardt) Zank; five brothers; and one sister, Grace Suckow.
Memorial services will be held at the South Pine Valley Cemetery (Sand Road), Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. A lunch for family and friends will be served following the service at the home of Barb Shaw in Neillsville.
