Digoski, Josephine (16 May 1883 - 29 March 1962)
Mrs. Josephine Digoski, 68, of Willard died after a short illness, March 29, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. at the Hill Funeral home and at 10 a.m. from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. The Rev. Mirko Sylvester officiated, and burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Digoski, the former Josephine Moras, was born May 16, 1893 in Poland. She was married July 14, 1910, in Europe to Paul Digoski. He died November 12, 1934. Shortly after their marriage they came to the United States and settled in Kalamazoo, Mich. In May, 1920, the family came to this area and settled on a farm six miles northwest of Willard, where she resided until her death. She was a member of Holy Family Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Frances) Moore of Chicago, and Mrs. Chester (Caroline) Przybylski of Thorp; four sons, John, Peter, and Joseph Digoski of Willard, and Walter Digoski of Neillsville; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Walencek of Poland.
