United Church of Christ (Cornerstone - April 5, 1962)
The laying of the cornerstone of the new United Church of Christ, now under construction at Second and Park Street, will take place Sunday April 8, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Jess Norenberg of Madison, state superintendent of Congregational churches and long time resident of Eau Claire, and the Rev. John Scheib of Madison, president of he Evangelical and Reformed churches of Wisconsin will have important parts in the ceremony.
