Prin. Gerald Sauer announces 13 Neillsville High School students have been selected to attend the annual banquet of Elks Lodge, No. 665, Marshfield, May 1, in the Marshfield Armory. Eleven cities and 12 high schools will join in the event which will honor outstanding high school students.
Neillsville students selected by the faculty are: Rita Spangler, art; Gary Thornton, music; John Doherty, science; Lowell Schoengarth, Mathematics; Mike Krultz, social science; Phil Hoeser, agriculture; Pat Krejci, home economics; Betty Finder, business; Harlo Olson, industrial arts; Kathy Galstad, English; Diane Rosenberg, foreign language; Dewella Heidemann and Duane Smith, athletics.
Cities joining in the recognition are: Granton, Greenwood, Loyal, Neillsville, Pittsville, Abbotsford, Marshfield, Stratford, Colby, Spencer and Auburndale.
