Roy and Virgil Gregory were here from Hastings, Minn., Saturday evening, and Sunday went to Minneapolis, C.M. Briggs accompanying them.

Mrs. Robert Short and family of Birchwood have been making a visit with her mother, Mrs. Stuve, and other relatives here.

Miss Esther Laffe, who has been visiting her sister, Miss Hilda, in Madison, and brother Herman and family at Morrisonville, returned home Tuesday.

Harold Morgan was elected director to succeed Clarence Zimmer, and Elmer Duerkop, who was appointed clerk when Mrs. Houghton left, was elected for the remainder of the term, at the school meeting in Houghtonburg Monday night.
