Postmaster John Michael has been confined to his home a part of this week by an infection in one of his legs.
Oscar Nelson, wife and daughter, formerly of Abbotsford, have been spending a while at the Geo. M. Nelson home, before leaving for California to make their home. They disposed of a part of their household effects by sale at the Stanley Garage.
Mrs. Art Johnson was painfully burned one day last week by the explosion of a pressure cooker.
Miss Iva Hart arrived home from South Bend, Ind. last Friday evening to spend part of her vacation. Her mother, Mrs. Mary Hart, who has been visiting her daughters, accompanied her. After leaving Evansville they made a drive to Green Bay to see the country, and cherry land, Rhinelander, Minocqua, and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Crandell at Antigo, on their way home.
