Mid-year graduation exercises at Marquette University in Milwaukee, resulting from speeded up wartime class schedules and introduction of the trimester plan of education, will find Robert R. Scheffer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scheffer, among the candidates for degrees.  Robert, who is a senior in the Marquette School of Law, seeks the degree of Bachelor of Laws.

Graduating exercises for the colleges liberal arts, business administration, journalism and nursing, and the schools of law and dentistry will be held on Thursday night, Feb. 4, while the commencement program for the two classes in the school of medicine will be conducted on Saturday night, Feb. 13.  Both programs will be held in the Milwaukee auditorium with the Rev. Raphael C. McCarthy, S.J., president of Marquette, conferring the degrees.

Marquette’s mid-year graduating class is composed of 289 members, of which 28 are from the school of law.
