John Babler came down from Minneapolis Monday.
Mrs. C.F. Buchholz spent last week at the homes of her sons, Robert in Altoona, and Gene in Eau Claire.
Ivan Duerkop of Madison, who spent the weekend in St. Paul, stopped on his way back Monday till Tuesday evening to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Duerkop.
Fred Theiler’s truck moved a party from near B.R. Falls to Wis. Rapids Wednesday, and also moved Vernon Campbell from the Rapids to the Jas. Campbell farm south of town. Clarence Jinkerson and family expect to move from the rapids to the Jinkerson farm between here and Merrillan, in the spring.
R.H. Ecke of Mondovi, was a caller in town last Friday, while on his way to Argyle, on business connected with his canning plant in that city.
Leo Kazlawski is advertising an auction sale to be held on the farm where he is living next Tuesday. He expects to move to Chicago, to be employed in a war production plant.
M.B. Baumgartner came over from Greenwood last Friday afternoon to attend the funeral of Mrs. Rhyner.
