Memorial Hospital (Directors Elected - 17 April 1962)

Six directors will be elected by members of Memorial Hospital, Inc., at the annual meeting next Tuesday night in  the lunch room at Neillsville High School.  The meeting will start at 8 p.m.

Two will be elected to fill vacancies created by the deaths of Dr. Benj. Stucki of Neillsville and O. W. Trindal of Loyal.  The Stucki term will be for three years, and the Trindal term, two years.

Expiring are the three-year terms of Frank Svetlik of Neillsville, Herbert Puscheck of Chili, John Plautz of Willard and Durward Schwarze of Granton.

In addition to the annual report on finances and operation of Memorial Hospital and its nursing home, a progress report will be made on the proposed 100-bed nursing home which is to be constructed this year adjacent to Memorial Hospital.  The federal government has formally approved the project and has ear-marked $320,000 in federal funds for the construction.  It was expected that final preparations to advertise for bids will be completed in advance of the meeting Tuesday.
