Neillsville Area Locals (19 April 1962)
Chester Seif of Augusta visited his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. Dale Seif, last Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barr and children, James and Kathy, have arrived from Millis, Mass., to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe A. Ylvisaker and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barr. Tom, who has been attending school in Massachusetts, has been assigned to a position in Los Angeles, Calif. He will leave this weekend. His family will remain at the Ylvisaker home temporarily. After school is out, Mr. and Mrs. Ylvisaker and Joey will accompany Mrs. Barr and her children to Los Angeles.
Mrs. Arthur E. Williams, who spent the winter with Albert "Lefty" Zank and his family in Chippewa Falls, will spend Easter at the Oliver Williams home. She will be accompanied by the Zank family.
Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Prock and Michael of Bettendorf, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene O’Brien and Greg of Milwaukee plan to spend Easter at the Harold Prock home.
Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock, who spent a month visiting Mr. and Mrs. John McKenzie in Bettendorf, Ia., plan to return home Friday.
Mrs. Albert Klinke, who had been employed in Neillsville, has returned to her home in Greenwood because of illness.
Mrs. Lawrence DeMert of York Center visited at the Ronnie Meyer home Friday.
Mrs. Helen Van Vleet and daughter, Debbie, visited relatives in Alma Center last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schenk of Oshkosh visited Mr. and Mrs. John C. Brandt last week.
Mrs. Gavin Upton and children of Black River Falls visited at the Albert Sollberger home last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Angus Flood of Humbird visited Wilfred Flood at Mrs. Grace Giloy’s home last weekend.
Joyce Vincent, who is employed in Eau Claire visited Mr. and Mrs. James Vincent last weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Abrahamson of Fairchild were weekend visitors at the Walter Trachte home.
Mrs. Lowell Dorn of Abbotsford and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze of Greenwood visited Mrs. Oluf Olson last weekend.
Mrs. Ellen Johnson of Wausau is on spring vacation.
Mrs. Lulu Eddy of Black River Falls visited the Kenneth Eddy home last weekend.
Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Bedell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Burr and family
and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hart were dinner guests at the Garald Hart
home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. William Boller and children of Wausau visited Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Wasserburger last weekend.
Richard Wegner, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wegner is a patient in a Marshfield hospital. He had "flu" and complications followed. His mother is assisting with his care.
Dr. M. V. Overman and Dr. Kenneth Manz attended a medical meeting in Stevens Point Thursday evening.
Onalee Crissinger arrived Wednesday from Luther College, Decorah, Ia., to spend Easter vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Crissinger.
Mrs. Helen Westness, a student home economics teacher of Holmen, visited her husband in Janesville last weekend. Mrs. Westness is here from Stout State College, Menomonie.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Swenson of Woodville visited Mr. and Mrs. Francis Conrad in Longwood last weekend.
Otto J. Warren entered an Eau Claire hospital Wednesday.
