Schulz, Lawrence "Larry" (July 30, 1947 - May 14, 2011)

Lawrence "Larry" Schulz, 63, of Wautoma, formerly of Colby, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family.

Lawrence was born July 30, 1947, in Colby to Perry and Fern (Winslow) Schulz.

He attended rural Colby schools and was a 1965 graduate of Colby High School. He helped on his parents’ farm in the town f Colby after high school and later did truck driving most of his life, especially dump truck. 

Larry enjoyed being outdoors. He married the former Patricia Mercier on May 14, 1983, in Marshfield. 

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Schulz, Wautoma; children Jason (Jennifer) Schulz, Wausau, David Schulz, Wautoma, Tammy (Frank) Niles, Wild Rose, Phillip (Shauna) Schulz, Wausau, and Jenny Schulz, Wautoma; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and sisters, Arlene Schulz, Colby, and Lorraine (Dan) Fischer, Colby. 

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clifford; and a son, Chad.

Services will be on Friday, May 20, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford at 1 p.m. with Reverend Kenneth A. Dix officiating. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.

The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
