Cusick, Perry (MAR 1896 - 31 MAY 1943)

Perry Cusick passed away very suddenly Monday forenoon, May 31, 1943, about 10:30, at his home here in Cleveland (Jackson Co., Wis.).  The funeral will be held from the town hall in Humbird at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3rd, conducted by Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Mr. Cusick and family moved here from Milwaukee six years ago, farming one year near Merrillan, then moving to the Steve Smith farm where they remained for five years.  April first they moved to the Mrs. Lois Dunn farm, where he passed away.

About a month ago he suffered a heart attack, and since had resumed his work around the farm, and was apparently in his usual health until one-half hour before his death.

Perry Cusick was born in Paris, Ill., in March 1896, making him past 47 years of age.  He and Mrs. Cusick would have been married twenty years next fall.

Surviving are his wife and four children, John D., Geraldine, Richard, and Bennie.  Also his mother, three brothers and two sisters survive.

He was a veteran of the World War I.
