Williamson, Levy (1874? - 3 AUG 1943)
Funeral services for Levy Williamson, postmaster and former publisher of the Mineral Point Democrat, who died at his home in that city Tuesday of last week, were held in that city Thursday afternoon. He was a native of Rochester, Ind., and was about 69 years of age. Mr. Williamson located in Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1903, and two years later purchased the Neillsville Times. He remained in Neillsville as editor of the times and a partner in the merged papers until 1929. Survivors are his wife, the former Mary E. Bruly of Neillsville, and one son, Lewis, who is in the Navy.
