Urlaub, Beverly A. (Marriage - 28 April 1962)

Miss Beverly A. Urlaub, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Urlaub of Rt. 3, Neillsville was given in marriage by her father to Eugene E. Bryan, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bryan, Rt. 2, Neillsville, in a single ring ceremony performed Saturday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Bernard T. Kelly.  Easter Lilies adorned the altar.

The floor length bridal gown was fashioned of imported silk organza over taffeta, with the full bouffant skirt embroidered with lace appliqués. A butterfly bow in the back cascaded into a chapel train. The Basque bodice featured long, tapered sleeves that came to a point at the wrist, and a Sabrina neckline trimmed with pearls and sequins. A finger tip veil of imported silk illusion was attached to a crown of Aurora crystals.  Her bouquet consisted of yellow roses surrounded by stephanotis and ivy.

Mrs. Lee Steinhilber, sister, was her matron of honor.  Bridesmaid was Miss Carol Becker.  They were attired in nylon sheer ballerina length dresses, styled with full bouffant skirts with wide tucks around the bottom.  A nylon sheer bow in the back cascaded into long streamers. Their fitted bodices were highlighted by a draped neckline, and they wore matching headpieces with shoulder veils, and carried yellow feathered carnations, centered with a lavender orchid.

Ben Urlaub, brother of the bride, served as best man.  Robert Roder of Waukesha, a cousin of the groom, was groomsman.  Ushers were Lee Steinhilber and Bruce Bryan.

A wedding reception was held in the American Legion Hall and afterward Mr. and Mrs. Bryan left on a wedding trip to Spring Valley.

The groom is employed on road construction work.
