Mr. and Mrs. James Pekol and son moved Saturday from the Kenyon apartment onto the farm of her grandmother, Mrs. Frieda Schlinsog, northwest of here which they will operate.

Mrs. Walter Swieso, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hendrickson and children attended a birthday party Saturday evening in honor of James White at his home in Loyal.  He is the father of Mrs. Hendrickson.

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin of Loyal, who spent two months in San Diego, Calif., with a son and daughter and their families, were guests from Friday until Monday at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kuester.  Other Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Young and family of Loyal.

The Neighborhood Group helped Mrs. Alma Busch celebrate her birthday with a party Saturday afternoon. The honoree was presented with gifts.  Patricia Herrick of Colby, who spent the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Scherr, was a guest.

Mr. and Mrs. Bud Albrecht and daughter of Arpin, Mrs. Christ Keiner, Mrs. Elenor Plank, Mrs. Henry Keiner and Miss Louise Keiner were Sunday guests at the Hugh Severson home.  Saturday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sheets and children of Boyd.

Mrs. Henry Keiner returned Wednesday after spending a few days in Stratford with her brother, Al Obernberger, and his family, and with other relatives.

Miss Marilyn Zirngible, who teaches in Milwaukee, left Wednesday after spending part of her vacation here with her sister, Mrs. William Kuchenbecker.

Mrs. Minnie Cox entertained members of the Canasta Club Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Elmer left Thursday for Milwaukee after a visit with relatives.  Monday they left for California by train to spend a month.

Don Warner spent from Wednesday until Saturday at Bear Lake with his sister, Mrs. Maud Flatz.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson and daughters were recent guests of Dr. and Mrs. O. Y. Bjornlund at Fairmont, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Dill and children of Milwaukee, and Gilbert Dill of Cedarburg, spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Lydia Dill; Mrs. Dill and children remained for a week’s visit here and at the Harold Mitte home in Globe.

The Birthday Bunch was entertained at supper Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart, in honor of Mrs. Stewart’s birthday.

The Forest Queen Royal neighbor Camp will meet Monday evening in the Legion Hall.  Hostesses will be Mrs. Frank Brey, Mrs. Edgar Opdyke and Mrs. Mary Barr.

The Women’s Guild will meet this (Thursday) afternoon in the Zion United Church.  Hostesses will be Mrs. Alma Busch and Mrs. Martha Horn. Ascension Day service will be observed.  Mrs. Lee Corey will be program chairman.

The W. S. C. S. will meet Friday afternoon in Grace Methodist Church with Mrs. Lloyd Peterson, Mrs. Esther Peterson and Mrs. Wayne Voss as hostesses.
