Buddinger, Louis H. (18 June 1911 - 3 May 1962)
Services were conducted Saturday in Colby for Louis H. Buddinger, 50, Colby, who was found dead in his home May 3, in Marathon County. Death was caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his head.
The Rev. Carl Serr, pastor of the First United Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was made in the Colby Cemetery.
Mr. Buddinger was born June 18, 1911, in the Town of York. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Buddinger. In March, 1933, he was married to Mary Anderegg, who survives. He lived alone on his farm and was employed in a shoe factory in Marshfield at the time of his death.
Other survivors besides his wife are four daughters: Mrs. Alice Schultz, St. Francis; Mrs. Bonnie Schnabel and Mrs. Marlene Hilt, Marshfield and Dixie Lee, Colby; one son, Gerald, Marshfield; also surviving are six grandchildren; two brothers, William of Granton and George of Neillsville; two sisters Mrs. Clara White of Loyal and Mrs. Minnie Trimberger of Granton; and a half sister, Mrs. Mary Kubat of Neillsville.
