Elias W. Stevens
Rev. Elias W. Stevens, father of police sergeant E. E. Stevens, died yesterday at his home, 4915 Thirty-ninth avenue south.
Mr. Stevens was pastor of Minnehaha Methodist Church. He had been in failing health some time. He was a veteran of the civil war, having served four years in the army. He has been chaplain at the Solder's Home for some time.
