Hans Olson and family moved to Neillsville indefinitely the first of the week.
Will O’Brien and Hurlbert are among the sweet ones. They have 500 trees tapped.
Jake Schafer lost a horse last week.
Ruth Vandeberg was given a birthday party Monday night. All present had a merry time.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rowe left Saturday for a week’s visit at Rice Lake with Mr. Rowe’s sister, Mrs. Mary Redmond.
Last Friday night Abe Vandeberg and Albert Love had quite a misfortune and escaped from injuries which might have resulted more seriously. They were driving when suddenly one of the horses fell and the sudden jolt pitched both of them over the dash board and under the horses, but they escaped injury.
Ray Campbell spent a few days at Marshfield the past week.
Will Lawrence sold a B.L.K. milking machine last Friday to Rush Wentworth.
Earl Lawrence and Miss Viola Alton were married last Thursday and are spending a short honeymoon at Minneapolis with the former’s brother and family.
At the caucus held last Friday afternoon, the following town ticket was placed in nomination: For town board - John P. Kintzele, Oscar Northup and Joseph Rondorf; clerk - W.E. Benedict; treasurer - Truman Davis; Assessor - Wm. Lawrence; justice of the peace - J.P. Kintzele; constables - Frank Potter and Frank Krejci.
