Bowers, William (1835 - 15 Mar 1914)
Mr. William Bowers died at his home in Waterloo, Jefferson Co., Wis., March 15th, 1914, aged 79 years, after several weeks of illness. Mr. Bowers has been a resident of Waterloo for many years, he had a circle of good and kind friends who loved and respected him. He never knowingly wronged anyone and died as he lived, without an enemy, bearing his sickness and pain patiently to the end. He was an industrious and hard-working man, a kind and loving father. Eleanor Bowers, his wife, died June 11th, 1898.
He leaves to mourn his loss four married daughters and one son, Mrs. Julia Baker of Colburn, Idaho, Mrs. Ida Porter of Colsprings, Wis., Mrs. Chloe Hathaway of Marshall, Wis., Amos Bowers of Waterloo, Wis., and Mrs. Lenus Frank of Neillsville, Wis., besides 11 grandchildren and two grandchildren. To his bereaved family and other relatives, we offer our deepest sympathy.
