York Center (16 Apr 1914)

 

Melvin Lawrence visited Mell Turner’s sugar bush last Sunday.  He ate so much sugar that he felt rather stuck up for a while.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wall of the town of Loyal were in our midst last Sunday.

 

Ted O’Brien and wife and Mr. W. Garvin were over in the vicinity of Globe last Saturday looking at some real estate property.

 

J.D. Timerson and family spent Sunday near Christie with friends.

 

George Hales of Dickinson, North Dakota is visiting his brother A.W. Hales and family.

 

Mr. S.A. Lindsley, who spent the winter with relatives at Plymouth, returned home last Thursday.

 

Abe Van de Berg had the wood sawyers last Saturday.

 

Merton Davis returned Tuesday from a trip to Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Forest Rowe were over Sunday visitors at Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Wieruszowski were at Markesan the past week, being called there by the death of Mrs. Wieruszowski’s father.

 

Emil Schoenfeld and Mable Turner returned from their trip to Plymouth last Thursday.

 

Keith Parrett, Art Konzie, and Velma Snyder went to Greenwood Monday night to attend the dance.

 

Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler and daughter Violet returned Monday from their visit at Marshfield.  Mrs. Mary Fuwiler, who was with them, remained for a longer visit.
