Cannonville (30 Apr 1914)

 

Mr. Sackett has sold his farm and they are talking of moving to Neillsville.

 

Dave Taylor and Mr. Kettle of Neillsville were callers at Mr. Sackett’s Saturday forenoon.

 

M.C. Thomas went to Columbus Saturday to see his father, who is quite poorly.

 

Lillian Nelson walked from Neillsville Sunday.  She teaches in Dist. No. 4.

 

Otto Schroeder and family spent Sunday at Eschenberg’s.

 

Uncle Bue spent Sunday at John VanFleet’s.

 

John Short was a Sunday visitor at Andrew Short’s.

 

Mr. Pernod and wife spent Sunday at Walter Bell’s and attended Sunday School in the afternoon.

 

Jesse Wilding and wife were Sunday visitors at Ed Short’s.

 

Gail and Opal Short stayed at their Grandpa VanFleet’s Friday night.

 

Mesdames Geo. Bue and Andrew Short called on Mrs. John Galbreath Wednesday afternoon.

 

Mrs. J.A. Short called on Mrs. M.C. Thomas Thursday afternoon.

 

Mrs. John Kauth helped Mrs. Pete Kauth do some papering Thursday.

 

Arthur Short and Guy Cramer spent Saturday evening at Floyd Wall’s.
