Anderson, Phyllis E. (25 AUG 1943)
Sgt. Chester A. Woodford, son of Mrs. Carrie Woodford, and Miss Phyllis Evelyn Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Anderson of Eau Claire, were united in marriage Wednesday, Aug. 25th, 1943, at Hastings, Minn.
The bride wore a blue gown trimmed with pink. The groom wore his army uniform. They were attended by Mrs. F. Neija and Pvt. John F. Neija of the marines, friends of the young couple.
A wedding dinner was served at the home of Mr. Melvin Walker. The bride is staying with his mother in this village (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.) for a short period. The groom has returned to Camp Sutton, N.C., where he is stationed.
