Smith, Nancy Jean (Marriage - 6 June 1962)
Wedding vows were exchanged June 6 in a double ring ceremony by Miss Nancy Jean Smith daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bergen Smith, Neillsville, and James Carl Breitung of Neillsville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Breitung of New London. The private candlelight service at 9 p.m. was performed in the United Church of Christ by the Rev. Frank B. Harcey.
The bride was attired in a white brocade sheath dress with white accessories. A corsage of pink tea roses was pinned to her shoulderline. Matron-of-honor was her mother, Mrs. Bergen Smith, who wore a nylon beige dress with light green accessories. The groom was attended by Bergen Smith, father of the bride, who also gave his daughter in marriage.
A supper followed the ceremony at a supper club near Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Breitung are spending a few days with his parents in New London and from there will leave for Lincoln, Kans., where he has employment in a hospital.
The bride has been employed in Rockford, Ill, and lately has worked part time in Neillsville.
The groom is a graduate of the high school in New London and of the Northwest Medical School in Minneapolis, Minn. He has been employed as a medical technician in Memorial Hospital for the last year and one-half.
