Magner, Judith (Marriage - 23 June 1962)
A nuptial ceremony was performed Satruday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, uniting in marriage Miss Judith Magner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Magner of Colby, and Kenneth Kelley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Kelley, also of Colby. The officiating pastor performed the double ring ceremony.
Given in marriage by Mr. Magner, the bride was attired in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace featured with a full hoop skirt draped in front to show a tulle flounce, the back having alternating rows of ruffled lace and tulle. The fitted Basque waist was styled with a pearl and sequin trimmed Sabrina neckline and long tapered sleeves. The French illusion veil was attached to a pearl tiara. The bridal bouquet consisted of small red roses, white carnations and stephanotis entwined with greens.
Mrs. James Faucher of Spencer served as matron of honor. Her bridesmaids were Miss Sandee Erickson and Miss Jeanette Magner, both of Colby.
James Faucher of Spencer was bestman. Serving as groomsmen were Charles Tio and Robert Kelly, both of Wisconsin Rapids.
Nuptial music was furnished by the church choir with Mrs. Al Gabriel at the organ.
One hundred fifty guests attended the reception in the city hall in Colby.
On their return from a wedding trip to the northeastern states Mr. and Mrs. Kelley will reside in Colby.
The bride is a graduate of the Colby High School and has been employed as a waitress in Colby. Her husband was graduated from the Spencer High School and works at a mobile home company in Spencer.
