Mr. and Mrs. George Iffland were down from Fairchild Friday afternoon.

 

T.A. McCready is adding to the comforts of their home by screening the front porch.

 

S.R. Newton has purchased the Dodge car, which Angus Flood brought home from Milwaukee last week.

 

Seaman Lyn Dignin has been sent from the Great Lakes Training Station to the west coast for ship duty.

 

Frank Zimmerman and his granddaughter went to B.R. Falls Friday, and visited at the R.H. Zimmerman home.

 

Henry Johnson, who was visiting at the home of his brother for a week or more, returned to the farm near Chili last Friday.

 

Mrs. Jenswold, accompanied by her mother from Fairchild, spent a few days in Altoona and Eau Claire last week visiting relatives.

 

R.M. Fletcher accompanied a party of friends from Menomonie Falls to Chetek over the weekend on a fishing tour.

 

Mrs. Gladys Olson, lay delegate from the circuit, is attending the West Wisconsin Methodist Conference at Ladysmith this week.  She accompanied Rev. and Mrs. Edw. Sachtjen of Wis. Dells.

 

Angus Flood returned the last of the week from spending several days in Milwaukee and Beloit on business with the farm machine company which he represents.  Mr. Flood drove home a fine new Dodge car from Milwaukee, and also brought a junior bicycle for his daughter.

 

N.S. Fristad and daughter Donna left Friday noon for Brooklyn for a visit with relatives.  He went from Brooklyn to Milwaukee to attend the sessions of the Masonic Grand Lodge Tuesday and Wednesday.
