Tschanz, Magdaline (29 JUN 1944)
In a single ring ceremony performed by Rev. Walter Clausing, at his home in Verona, at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29th, 1944, Miss Magdaline Tschanz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tschanz of Blue Mounds, became the bride of Robert A. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Smith of Humbird (Clark Co., Wis.).
The bride wore a gown of satin and an appliqued net skirt. Her shower bouquet was of white roses and baby’s breath, and her fingertip veil held by a tiara of starched net and velvet ribbon.
Attending the bride was Mrs. Walter Tschanz, Jr., sister-in-law, who wore a pink net gown with a bouquet of pink roses. Walter Tschanz, Jr., brother of the bride, served as best man.
A wedding supper for fourteen guests was held at 7:00, and later in the evening a variety shower was held.
Their residence at present is at Marshfield, where both are employed.
