Olson, Mrs. Ernest (1919? - 10 JUL 1944)
Mrs. Ernest Olson, who resided on the John Greub, Sr. farm, west of town, died suddenly soon after noon Monday. She was alone in the house with four young children at the time, and the oldest child, Rose, aged six years, ran to the field after her father. Neighbors came at once for Dr. Schwarz, and the doctor found Mrs. Olson dead when he arrived. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed McCauley from near Price, and was 25 years of age. The funeral was held this Thursday afternoon at her late home, and at the Upper Pigeon Church, where burial will be made.
Surviving are her husband, four young children, her parents, who now reside in Illinois, two sisters and four brothers.
The family are comparatively newcomers to this vicinity, having been on the Greub farm only a short time.
