Peacock, Clarence (27 September 1887 - 1 July 1962)

 

Clarence Peacock, 74, one-time superintendent of the Inderrieden Canning Company plant in Neillsville, died in Rice Lake hospital July 1, according to word received by friends here.  Funeral services were held in Rice Lake July 3.

 

Mr. Peacock lived in Neillsville during the late 1930’s and early 1940’s.

 

He was born September 27, 1887, in Eden Center, N. Y., and came to Wisconsin in 1916, settling in Rice Lake as superintendent of the Inderrieden Company plant there until he came to Neillsville.

 

Surviving are his wife, the former Laura Lund, whom he married in Rice Lake in 1956; two daughters, Mrs. A. W. (Alice) Boehmer and Mrs. H. F. Behman, both of Rice lake; two sons, Clarence, Jr., of Port Angeles, Wash., and David of Fort Lewis Wash.; two grandchildren; a brother, Edward of Chicago; and a sister, Edna of Gowanda, N. Y.
