Plank, Alice Grace (8 April 1906 - 6 July 1962)
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Bergemann Funeral Home for Miss Alice Plank, 56, of Greenwood, who died Friday in a Madison hospital. The Rev. Terence McCreedy, student pastor of the United Church of Christ, officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Alice Grace Plank, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Plank, was born April 8, 1906 in Paw Paw, Mich. The family later moved to Dodgeville and in 1921 moved to Greenwood. Miss Plank was graduated from the Greenwood High School and was employed as a telephone operator in Greenwood until she became ill several years ago.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Plank, Neillsville; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Francis, Neillsville; Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Neuenfeldt, Spencer; Mrs. Mildred Carney, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. John (Margaret) Richards, Mount Prospect, Ill.
Pallbearers were: Bruce, John and Robert Neuenfeldt, David Richards, John Richards and Harris Schoengarth.
Two hymns, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Whispering Hope", were rendered by Ellis Wall, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

Donovan, Milwaukee; Jessie Rellis, Wautoma; Mrs. Ruth Kittleson, Wautoma; Mrs. D. IK. Schwarze, Granton; Mercedes Liebzeit, Lill Warner, Melvin Afkind, Mr. and Mrs. Leamon Plank, all of Greenwood; Mrs. Jerome Betz, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Neeb, Mrs. Edna Cone, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Larson, all of Loyal; and Mrs. Mary Barr of Greenwood.
